Client Details
- The client is one of the world's leading luxury retailers. Headquartered in Hong Kong, the client has a global presence in over 13 countries. They are looking for a fixed assets accounts executive that will be responsible for the fixed assets process, while partnering with various business functions.
Description
- Responsible for fixed asset process to ensure timely capitalization of assets to ensure timely capitalization of assets upon completion of store construction.
- Review and optimize business processes, such as streamlining end-to-end processes to improve efficiency for the team.
- Responsible for Month-end closing activities:
- Ensure proper capitalization of cost and recording of depreciation/disposal/transfer of assets in compliance with local statutory tax laws.
- Prepare and review Account Reconciliations.
- Liaise with internal and external audit and other stakeholders as required.
- Other adhoc projects as assigned
Profile
- At least 2 years of experience in Fixed Assets.
- Degree/Diploma in Finance and Accountancy .Accounting certifications are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in IAS, SAP and Microsoft Excel required as these systems would be used on a daily basis.
