As a Finance Analyst, you will provide support to the Planning and Forecasting Manager within the Civil Operations HQ team. Providing technical and systems-based support to the Rolls-Royce Operational Business Units (OBU's) which are located throughout the UK and Overseas as well as supporting the global logistics function and purchasing teams.

What you will be doing:

Using your excellent technical skills, you will provide support to the Planning and Forecasting Manager within the Civil Operations HQ team.
  • Supporting the planning and forecasting process through the creation and maintenance of models and tools for use by the wider team.
  • Training the finance users how to use the tools and to provide support during the budgeting and forecasting cycles.
  • Working on process improvement tasks supporting the wider operations team, including writing, and maintaining how to guides and task lists.
  • Attendance at agreed value-added business meetings such as actuals and forecasting business reviews.

  • Excellent Excel skills, proficient in Visual Basic (VBA) coding within Excel .
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Hyperion Financial Management and Planning products. Experience in similar accounting software (e.g. TM1, Tagetik, D365, Anaplan) may be considered.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of individuals and teams.
  • Experienced in communicating with non-Finance personnel.
  • Customer focused, with a drive for process improvement.
  • AAT/ CIMA or equivalent (or working towards qualification).

The professional level and salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate but is anticipated to be Staff Grade SNBG 7-10.
