We've got an exciting new opportunity within the Fraud Centre of Excellence as a Quality Control and Risk Manager. Substantial growth is taking place within this team, so it couldn't be a better time to join this team to really shape the position as your own.

You'll work alongside colleagues and teams across Fraud Operations to lead a Quality Checking team of Subject Matter Experts who will complete quality checking across all Fraud portfolios and channels a within Fraud and Dispute Operations.

Additionally, you'll be responsible for maintaining and managing a 4E (Efficient, Economic, Effective and Ethical) Quality Control (QC) function to ensure that robust QC is applied within Fraud Operations.

The difference you'll make.

  • Managing the operational risks and controls in an exceptionally high compliance and regulatory environment
  • Ensuring the delivery of service excellence through agreed SLAs combined with internal and external regulatory compliance standards.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to review processes for improvements for customer journey.
  • Assisting the build and implementation of QC governance and reporting processes in place.
  • Leading the QC analyst(s), providing required leadership and setting clear guidelines and expectations for team members.
  • Delivering initiatives that produce significant business improvements or cultural change in support of business advantage.

What you'll bring.

  • Demonstrable experience in managing Quality Controls in operational processes, preferably within the Economic Crime space.
  • Working co-operatively and productively with others, openly exchanging information, and supporting colleagues from around the organisation to achieve business goals.
  • You will require the right to work in the UK (please see details below)

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Exceptional organisational skills and experience of delivering excellent service, with an ability to manage conflicting interests and deadlines.
  • Previous experience effectively managing stakeholders, with negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrable examples of clear attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of working across Retail and Corporate Banking and an understanding of the associated Fraud risks.

What else you need to know.

This is a full-time opportunity, with core hours being Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. Due to the nature of this role, and the everchanging environment of Fraud, there could be slight flexibility of this.

This role does allow for hybrid working, however there is an expectation to be able to go into a head office site in either Milton Keynes, Bradford or Bootle on a regular basis to collaborate effectively with your team.
