Do you see yourself assuming responsibility for a Global KYC Centre of Excellence, and in doing so support the DLL countries in the execution of their KYC processes?

As the Manager of the KYC Centre of Excellence (COE) you will be accountable for a Central team that oversees the implementation of CDD standards, global business process and CDD quality assurance. The KYC COE will also be responsible for AML training and communication.

This is a senior leadership role reporting to the Global Head of KYC Operations and requires the role holder to assume hands on responsibility for the oversight of DLL’s AML/CTF framework in the 1st line.

Day to day:

  • Responsible for the implementation of changes to the CDD standards in the 1st line organization.
  • Global CDD Business process ownership and business process change management
  • Responsible for Centre of Excellence that provides effective and timely support to the AML teams in the DLL country network.
  • Leadership of a team of circa 10 FTE.
  • Develop and maintain a Global KYC champion network with the DLL country network.
  • Act as a product owner for the KYC Target Operating Model.
  • Support the Head of KYC Operations in creating an organizational culture that places high priority on effective adherence to DLL’s AML/CTF standards.
  • Conduct regular AML maturity assessments in the DLL country network, with the aim to mature the 1st line organization.
  • Accountable for the development and roll out of a comprehensive 1st Line AML/CTF training and communications program for the DLL country network.
  • Accountable for the development and implementation of a risk-based AML/CTF Quality assurance framework.
  • Leadership of the Quality assurance team, whose main aim is to increase the quality and maturity of DLL’s CDD files.
  • Assist the DLL countries in the identification and remediation of AML/CTF issues.
Essentials:

  • 5-10 years’ experience in 1st Line FEC management roles, leading large KYC teams.
  • This role requires you to be in our Dutch office in Eindhoven at least twice a week. We are open for candidates living in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. If you are open to relocate to The Netherlands that is also an option.
  • Proven experience in leading and delivering financial crime change.
  • Experience in advising or working in a compliance function with a focus on delivering a robust KYC/CDD compliance framework
  • Identify needs for strategic and automation improvement.
  • In depth understanding of financial economic crime compliance requirements of the WwFT.
  • Ability to develop, foster and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups of people within the organization as well as with external stakeholders and vendors
  • Leadership and key stakeholder engagement skills and experience required
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the innate ability to work unsupervised in a structured manner

  • Master’s Degree in Science, Finance, Business, or a related subject.
