Job Summary
The Finance Manager - Accounts Payable is responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the company's Accounts Payable process in a professional and knowledgeable manner. This position directs and oversees the daily management of the Accounts Payable staff, as well as the processes associated with the payment of invoices, ensuring the accuracy of the entire process as it relates to the processing of purchase orders, vendor payments and communication with buyers. This position ensures company policies and procedures are being adhered to as they pertain to Accounts Payable.
This position will report directly to the Director of Financial Operations and is located at the SHI office in Bethlehem, PA.

Responsibilities

- Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
- Successfully manage all vendor responsibilities
- Manage and complete all projects as assigned
- Hire, train, develop, and appraise staff effectively
- Establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with vendors and partners
- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
- Identify and communicate risks and opportunities through data analysis, modeling, and presentation of alternatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a business, financial or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of experience in managing an accounting function, in a medium- or large-size company preferred
- 2+ years of management experience, AP field preferred

Additional Information
- The estimated annual pay range for this position is $60,000 - $100,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
