Your field of responsibility

General Ledger Account Ownership (GLAO) and GLAO governance is the bedrock to Banks Financial and regulatory reporting capabilities. The GLAO lead is required across each region to support the GLAO program which is critical to CFO and the bank. An outstanding opportunity to join us in this role where your responsibilities will include:

Oversight of the EMEA and AMER GLAO governance program which includes managing the monthly review of GLAO sign off results across all EMEA/AMER entities to ensure accuracy and quality of sign off, review of management reporting for content and quality and facilitation of the monthly EMEA/AMER GLAO Steering Committees. Application of GLAO policy, rules and guidelines to ensure the EMEA/AMER regions are fully aligned with AO responsibilities. Driving departmental projects through collaboration with partners and other team members.

Facilitating GLAO ownership disputes to ensure that ownership follows the guiding principles and is consistent across regions. The role requires developing and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders.

You will be working for the Global GLAO program lead who reports to the CFO Risk & Control Office Head. You will also work closely with your peers in Switzerland and APAC and the centralized Global GLAO team in India. The team succeeds through collaboration and fostering an environment of partnership and inclusion. Your skills and experience

We are looking for the successful candidate to possess the following:

A Bachelor’s degree, preferably a chartered accountant. Proven auditing/accounting experience, preferably in the Financial Service Industry. Outstanding interpersonal/communication skills. Detailed oriented and innovative mind-set. Proven ability to manage work well under pressure. Proficient in Microsoft applications.
