We have several finance teams based in our recently refurbished offices in Slough including R2R, O2C, Commercial Business Partnering and FP&A/Commercial.

Description

The Finance Business Partner, supported by a pool of analysts and transactional finance teams, have a key focus on supporting the operational business, providing strategic insight and a review of business performance. Key Responsibilities;

  • Daily Finance Business Partnering for the respective regional or country managing directors for your remit, building strong relationships with the operational business to become a "trusted advisor" to them
  • Producing analysis and insights e.g., for board packs and other management information to aid their respective MD in running their business
  • Monitor the macroeconomic development of the countries in scope & the potential impact/opportunities on business
  • Working with management teams in preparation and review of business cases, or in strategic analysis and decision making e.g. decisions to create new teams; to open new office locations; to undertake support projects etc.
  • Provide support to client tenders and national accounts teams and perform reviews of commercial contracts
  • Close monitoring of country performance and strategic analysis of KPIs, financial indicators and external data including competition
  • Undertaking employment cost analysis and review of other areas of spend to maximise efficiency and profitability
  • Oversee and input into the budgeting and forecasting process - liaising with the business to ensure accurate and timely budget submissions
  • Overseeing the financial accounting inputs/output to/from the business to ensure that transactions are accurately and timely posted, and reflect accurately business activity
  • Ensuring strong processes between the local country operations and the respective SSC / transactional finance teams
  • Providing guidance and strategic input into the month-end process executed by the transactional finance teams
  • Monthly review and approval of balance sheets in partnership with the Record to Report (R2R) transactional finance team
  • Reviewing bonus, commission and incentive schemes and payments, ensuring they remain fair, rewarding and cost effective
  • Support internal or external audit activity, as required
  • Closely work and coordinate with other support functions (such as, Marketing, HR, IT) to ensure best possible outcome for Page
  • Other ad-hoc internal and external reporting as required by their businesses

Profile

The successful candidate will be qualified or qualified by experience (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, QBE) and have experience working as a finance business partner or an FP&A analyst wanting to become a finance business partner. This would suit someone that has supported a heavy sales business previously.

This role would require some limited travel around the UK.
