PwC prides itself on building trust within society and solving important problems. One way of doing this is through our tax practice. To support this purpose, an opportunity has arisen to join our Tax team and assist with the day-to-day affairs of our varied portfolio of clients.
As a Tax Consultant, you would:

Work alongside professionals with different skill sets across the PwC Network to gain exposure to clients that are based locally or operate across different jurisdictions.

Handle the affairs of both local and international-operating clients ranging from tax compliance work to tax advisory work.

Be involved in providing advice and assistance on various tax laws applicable in Malta, such as income tax, VAT, stamp duty, import duty, and social security contributions.

Be encouraged to join a sub-team to specialize further in specific areas of Tax.

Receive technical and leadership training in order to grow holistically.

Be granted the opportunity to work with a client in Malta or overseas on a tax related assignment.
The ideal candidate would:

Hold at least 1-year experience in a similar role (though training shall be provided for all new joiners);

Be ACCA qualified;

Have strong fluency in English and hold strong interpersonal skills;

Be able to prioritise work and manage competing priorities;

Enjoy working in a team;
-
Have an interest in acquiring exposure to various disciplines;

Be willing to learn and be open to new challenges.
