Due to a maternity leave, the company need to recruit a part time Finance Director for a 9 month fixed term contract starting in February 2023. The role will be on the company payroll and is a hands on all round role reporting to Group Finance Director based in Germany. The candidate should be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and have post qualification management experience. Excellent communication and ability to work effectively to deadlines are essential.

- Over see 2 management accountants who are responsible for the management accounts of 4 entities (2 UK and 2 US). Oracle and Business Central experience desirable.
- Review of month end data and management packs, presentation to management team.
- Rolling weekly cashflows for all entities.
- SC AG is a German listed group therefore have extensive quarterly group reporting -support management accountants with this reporting.
- Ad hoc support to senior management in UK and US.
- Quarterly VAT returns for 2 UK entities.
- Approval of weekly supplier payment runs.
- Review and approve payroll (processed externally).
- Liaise with external accountants with regards to statutory account prep.
- Liaise with group auditor regarding audit requests.
- Quarterly reforecasting.
