A rapidly expanding accountancy practice based in Clevedon is searching for a Senior Accountant to join the team in a key position providing accounts, tax and wider services to a varied client base.

Based in Clevedon Based in Clevedon this growing accountancy practice acts for very wide ranging clients across varying industries. The firm's sole director is supported by a close knit team of professional staff. The firm acts for a sizable client base wide ranging in industry, sector and turnovers to include a whole spectrum of industries and clients range from small sole traders with turnover >£100k through to clients up into the £millions with largest clients around circa £6million.They provide all around services across the range of year end accounts/tax compliance, bookkeeping ,VAT, Payroll, CIS etc to their varied clients on the compliance side. Alongside this the firm delivers and focuses on a lot of tax planning work and advisory added value work for clients alongside this as well. The firm utilises Digita software.

Description

Joining the firm as a Senior Accountant based out of the firms Clevedon offices you will take on increasing responsibility for managing the full hands on provision of varied, accounts / tax and wider general practice services to mixed and wide ranging client base . Clients are varied across wide ranging industry limited companies, SME's and OMBs along with smaller sole traders and partnerships, with clients up to around the £6million mark. As well as managing the hands on provision of year end accounts preparation, tax and wider general practice services to your clients, in both a hands on and review role you will look to develop added value relationships with your clients, carving a key role within this office and firm working with managers and directors on planning and advisory work. You will help assisting within managing a wider team, reviewing work and supporting junior staff in their development. There will be scope to carve a key position within this growing office and progress in your career.

Profile

You may be any of AAT/ATT/CTA, ACA ACCA qualified, or suitably experienced only with a career background developed within accountancy practice as an experienced Senior Accountant professional. You will have a recent background working for an accountancy practice, in both a hands on and/or review capacity alongside this as well, or with the demonstrable ability to step up into this level of role, overseeing the delivery of accounts, tax services and wider services to a mixed client base of limited companies, SMEs and OMBs, sole traders and partnerships.

Job Offer

Circa £30,000 - £36,000 plus benefits, negotiable dependent on experience and background of the right professional
