Client Details
Our client is an international company active in consultancy, with offices located in Brussels.
Description
- Responsible for GL accounting and expense reporting
- Support the team during the month- and year-end closings
- Prepare the monthly VAT declaration and yearly VAT listing
- Accounting point of contact for internal and external auditors
- Assist with the management of the Belgian HQ fixed assets
- Coach and assist in the supervision of a Junior Accountant
Profile
- Bachelor degree in Accounting
- At least 5 years of experience in a GL Accountant or Senior Accountant position
- Fluent in English, with good knowledge of French and/or Dutch
- Advanced knowledge of BEGAAP standards and at least basic knowledge of USGAAP standards
- Experience with ERP systems is a strong asset
