GM Finance (Logistics)

This is a newly created GM Finance position with a global shipping/logistics company. Responsible for the global logistics portfolio, you will directly influence key business decisions, support company's growth ambitions.

Swift to execute strategic decisions to stay afloat during different economic climates, the company is set for continued success through generations. The team is looking for a new GM Finance to join the logistics subsidiary and helm the finance function.

Description

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be:

• Responsible for full spectrum finance activities with aim of achieving logistics groups financial targets
• Manage annual budget, forecast, monthly financial review, managing a team of 3 headcounts
• Provide financial analysis and commercial inputs to support business strategies and investment valuation, lead discussions with senior leadership team
• Ensure compliance and fulfil statutory reporting requirements including audit and tax matters
• Spearhead process improvement projects to enhance reporting efficiency

Profile

• Degree in Accounting/Business/Finance with at least 12 years of working experience
• Prior working experience with professional accounting firm combined with industry knowledge in logistics is highly advantageous
• Technically strong, highly analytical to generate meaningful financial insights
• Strong business partnering and communication skills, works collaboratively with business leaders
