AML / CTF Specialist

The AML/CTF Specialist is a role where you take on responsibility for the Know your customer knowledge & skills infrastructure of DLL, and by doing, support the DLL country organization in the execution of their KYC processes.

Day to day:

  • Perform global 1st line control/maturity assessments of AML processes and routines to evaluate the efficiency and accuracy of the processes in the countries.
  • Acting as centre of expertise on CDD regulatory queries from the countries.
  • Review the current approved and documented AML/CTF policies and procedures; determine gaps against applicable AML/CTF laws and regulations and industry leading practices to identify areas for improvement. Socialize updated policies and procedures with the country network.
  • Assist the Training Lead in the creation and maintenance of the training curricula for the KYC process and other regulatory assessments. Ensuring regulatory changes are included in global training in a timely manner.
  • Assist with training to the country organizations who are involved in AML processes.
  • Assist the countries with the remediation of CDD data where required.
  • Act as an escalation to compliance, risk committee, cams committee where required.
  • Analysis of management information received from the countries and preparation of global 1st line reporting.
  • Participate in risk assessments, SIRA, SIRA add on, DNB questionnaire, coverage assessments
  • Project management in case global/regional projects regarding AML and Sanctions topics
  • By working together with the Financial Crime Tech Specialist's actively drive, evaluate and improve the Bank´s AML- systems (Rock and other local systems).
Essentials:

  • A background in AML is strongly preferred with industry accreditation such as ACAMS or ICA being an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an AML / KYC analyst role with oversight responsibilities, preferably within the financial services industry. Experience in the leasing industry is a big plus
  • You must have a detailed knowledge of the Dutch Wwft standards.
  • You live and are permitted to work in the EU.
