Who we are looking for

Reporting to the Product Owner, the Officer will work within an Agile development team as a business analyst in order to accomplish goals set forward in the development roadmap. The Officer will work with global Derivatives teams to understand business requirements, with software developers in the Agile team to design innovative solutions, and with software testers to validate those solutions.

The officer will also act as a business-facing spokesperson for the product, managing queries about new goals, investigating reported issues, and working with operations groups to roll out new functionality.

What you will be responsible for

As a project analyst you will

  • Perform business analysis, process mapping and evaluation
  • Design solutions for designated goals
  • Test developed solutions
  • Investigate and respond to queries
  • Create documentation and development artifacts for the product

What we value

These skills will help you succeed in this role

  • Knowledge of OTC products, trade processing, asset servicing and understanding of accounting processes.
  • Technical fluency. You don’t need to be a software developer, but you’ll be working closely with developers and testers.
  • Strong English communication skills, including the ability to lead discussions and present ideas.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 years’ experience in middle office or back office servicing
  • Experience or training as a business analyst or project manager
  • Experience working in AGILE or SCRUM projects would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of software development practices would be a plus
