I am exclusively representing a Multi Academy Trust near Mansfield in their search for a permanent Finance Assistant. This is really exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for autonomy and progression within a finance role.

Client Details

My client is based near Mansfield, easily commutable from wider Nottinghamshire. Having recently experienced a rapid period of growth, they are in need of a permanent Finance Assistant to support the Business Operations Manager with finance duties. Coming into the new year, they are in a really exciting period of development and are looking for the successful candidate to be an integral part of this.

Description

The Finance Assistant's role will be varied, typical duties of the role include: processing purchase orders, performing bank and payroll reconciliations, and maintenance of the fixed asset register.

My client will consider part time candidates.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be fully AAT qualified (or equivalent)
• Have experience working in a busy finance function
• Have a good working knowledge of the purchase and sales ledger
• Have experience working in an education setting (not essential)
• Have excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal
• Be proactive and a problem solver
• Be a team player

Job Offer

The candidate can expect a salary between £19,000-£25,000 (doe) + 33 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays + free, onsite parking + other voluntary benefits
