Who we are looking for

This Project Manager position is within the Global Delivery (GD) Business unit located in Hangzhou with 3 - 5 years knowledge of project management to support new client onboarding, migration, efficiency saving and platform implementation, etc.

The team you will be joining is a part of Business Consulting & Solution Global Delivery (GD) plays an important role to support various projects internal and external of HZ operation teams for new client onboarding, migration across sites, transformation. You will help operation teams to build resilience, meet the strategy and transformation saving goal.

What you will be responsible for

As & you will

  • Independent run regional/global projects with senior (MD and Above) stakeholders involved
  • Create & execute project plan, revise as appropriate to meet changing needs & requirements
  • Create and manage project documentation and checklists
  • Resolve and escalate project and operational issues in a timely manner
  • Effectively communicate progress and escalations to superiors & Operations
  • Interpret project needs and work to meet those needs, offer assistance and advice on standard practical issues
  • Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal policies and procedures, as well as provide input to further development of best practices
  • Oversight implementation of new systems and processes
  • Conduct Post Implementation Review
  • Ad-hoc problem resolving
  • Work on other priorities per management requirement, e.g. team development and governance

What we value

These skills will help you succeed in this role

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required in accounting, finance, economics or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant industry experience – financial services with project management, fund accounting and custody experience preferred
  • Knowledge of financial services industry
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, MS Project). VBA skill is a plus
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Strong verbal communication, influencing and collaboration skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong professional relationships
  • Self-motivated professional with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and goals

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor + with major finance, Project Management
  • PMP, CFA, CPA would be plus
