Specialist, Risk

The Risk Specialist is responsible for establishing strategies in business support to minimize risk and assure compliance with relevant laws and legislation.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertise in risk avoidance and compliance.
• Focus of role is on execution of strategic direction of business function activities.
• Carries out the most complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues
• Consistently displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the rest of the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity
• Highly flexible and adaptable to change.

Skills/Qualifications:

The successful partner will have:

• 10+ years of risk management or compliance experience, including In depth knowledge of regulations, federal, state, and local laws and regulations acquired through formal education and work experience is required.
• Knowledge of risk management and strategic goals for the bank's business.

• Communication and analytical skills are necessary to consult with partners/clients,
• Analyze information and apply regulations.
