Your field of responsibility

Join us as an Audit Director, covering Investment Banking and Capital Markets within our groundbreaking audit function. You will be responsible for developing and coordinating delivery of Internal Audit’s coverage of the relevant area considering the bank’s strategy, top risks, changes in the regulatory landscape and emerging trends in collaboration with the Head of Audit for Investment Banking and Capital Markets market. You will deliver compelling assurance by developing and completing the audit program based on your continuous risk assessment and you will collaborate with peers across teams with differing expertise (e.g., credit risk, risk, data analytics specialists) to develop broad educational perspectives with depth. This role demands positive relationships with senior business collaborators, External Audit and Regulators. You will use your independence and influencing skills to support the improvement of the Bank’s risk and control environment. As part of our team, you will be responsible to build an impactful team by coaching and mentoring and growing subject matter knowledge globally for Investment Banking and Capital Markets related topics.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for:

  • At least fifteen years of proven work experience relating to audit, accounting or in the financial services industry with strong Investment Banking knowledge
  • Deep understanding of risk and how controls can mitigate those risks while being commercial
  • Strong analytical skills paired with an ability to see the bigger picture that helps collaborators take corrective actions that work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to deliver difficult messages and present information to senior partners in a succinct and concise way.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills which set an inspiring “tone from the top” within Internal Audit and across multiple topics, such as people, innovation, and business transformation.
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives.
