Job title: Project Controller

Location: Portsmouth, Frimley, New Malden, Dorchester - We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Up to £37,000 depending on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

• Ensure schedules, baseline and forecasts, are accurately maintained and updated in accordance with the business reporting cycle
• Support Project resource management, i.e. project demands
• Facilitate/Support the Risk and Opportunities process including generation of risk reports and schedule & cost risk analysis
• Facilitate/Support the Control Account Manager (CAM) Review process including analysis of Earned Value (EV) data
• Generating reporting suite for contract review meetings in accordance with the reporting cycle. Ensure appropriate task and budget flow down creating Cost Collection Numbers enabling the monitoring of achievement both within the project team and for external providers

Your skills and experiences:

A good knowledge of project management practices and processes including planning, cost control, earned value management and risk and opportunity management, with the ability to analyse and present data allowing informed decision making

Experience working in a project environment

An understanding of Lifecycle Management.

PC literate with good working knowledge of the MS Office suite and a sound knowledge of planning toolsets

The Project Controls Hub team:

To support the collation, updating and analysis of business data using project control and planning processes for projects within Combat Systems. This requires the hands-on use of a range of business systems and Project Control and Planning toolsets.
