As a Senior Associate,  you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the delivery of services to a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Managers and above
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
  • Assist management in delivering various project
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  • Keep abreast with developments in the accounting profession vis-a-vis accounting standards (IFRS, etc.)
  • Develop internal relationships including your PwC brand as well as relationships with clients
  • Be proactive in one’s learning and development and seek opportunities to upskill oneself in various related areas
     

The ideal candidates should have:

- Prior direct experience on financial advisory assignments relating to raising finance, capital market transactions, M&A, corporate valuations, financial due diligence, business strategy and business recovery would be considered an asset.

- Accountancy qualification;

- Have between 2-3  years of experience, working in the field of corporate finance;

- Strong analytical skills but tempered with an ability to think laterally;

- Ability to deliver quality written work;

- Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly articulate results of analysis and thought process;

- Ability to multitask across assignments;

- General business / commercial awareness;


The selected candidates will:

- Gain a wealth of experience through training and mentoring and have the opportunity to work on a wide range of interesting financial advisory assignments;

- Support the management/ senior team members on delivering insight to help our clients get the best possible outcome from complex business issues, be that of realising the best value from a corporate transaction, restructuring a business or dealing with turnaround situations;

- Have the opportunity to develop and apply their diverse skill base in new and innovative ways to deliver value and build long-term relationships with clients.
