You will be responsible for the effective and efficient running of the purchase ledger function and all related outflows from the business. This will include handling payment allocations and setting up new suppliers. As well as looking after a purchase ledger with a turnover of approximately £10m per year and will be the primary point of contact for all cash outflows.

Description

You will be responsible for:

  • The effective and efficient running of the accounts payable function and all related outflows from the business.
  • Handling payment allocations and setting up new suppliers.
  • Managing the inbox and supplier queries, issuing prepaid cards and virtual cards and ensuring the ledger is well maintained.
  • The accounts payable function is the first point of contact for supplier queries and is part of the wider Finance team of 10 staff, who work in a collaborative way to problem solve, ensuring they provide the best service.

Profile

The ideal applicant will have some experience in working on a successful purchase ledger. Have excellent excel skills and have great attention to detail. They will be able to prioritise, problem solve and take responsibility for their own work.

Desirable requirements:

  • A recognised qualification in Finance / Accounting
  • SAP Concur
  • Sage 200
