Finance Analyst

Page Personnel are recruiting for a Finance Analyst on behalf of a leading retail business with this role being based for the luxury Trafford Park offices.

The purpose of the role is to provide effective finance support to the operations function and the Senior Finance Business Partner through accurate analysis & insight.

Description

Finance Analyst duties will include:

• Providing analysis of operational performance resource planning
• Assisting the Senior Finance Business Partner with operational reporting and forecasts
• Understanding key drivers of operational performance and cost to develop forecast models
• Helping identify efficiency's and cost savings
• Collating and providing key functional / business data in order to provide accurate performance reports and models
• Providing accurate & up to date reports to support the P&L
• Creating and review financial and performance reports
• Reconciling key information
• Providing financial input into the KPI / Budget process
• Providing financial support and analysis for business cases & decision making
• Financial risk management

Profile

The successful finance analyst candidate will:

• Have a proven track record in a similar role or with preparing and analysing reports
• Have strong data analysis and manipulation skills
• Have strong MS Excel skills with the ability to deal with large data sets (Vlookups, Pivot Tables)
• Be a strong written and verbal communicator
• Be able to prioritise tasks in a fast paced environment
