Your role
Do you want to contribute to a project of firm-wide significance? We are looking for someone who is ready to support the bank-wide UBS Client Risk Rating (CRR) program with particular focus to the following tasks:
• act as a Subject-matter expert on the bank-wide AML CRR model within the Central Financial Crime Prevention unit
• support managing instances of the CRR model across multiple global locations
• prepare model for model validation and Maintain model prototype
• contribute to the development of Challenger Models
• execute Model Performance, annual Confirmation Concept and key performance controls for all model instances
• review model parameters and thresholds on a regular basis for appropriateness
• keep model documentation up to date
• engage with global community of stakeholders in Financial Crime and Business Units
• complete UBS's annual BSA/AML/OFAC training

Your team
You will be working with the CRR Run the Bank team within the global Financial Crime Prevention function. We work as a gatekeeper in preventing money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions and corruption risks for the bank.

Your expertise
• a degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, or engineering is preferred
• ideally 5+ years of experience in Financial Crime risk management, audit or compliance
• grasp of Due Diligence processes, risk factors, and relevant regulatory requirements
• knowledge of model risk and model validation is a plus
• good record keeping and reports drafting skills
• consulting experience is an advantage
• analytic with the ability to provide practical solutions for minimizing risk
• result-oriented and assertive (you don't shy away from challenging situations)
• excellent communicator, also in virtual teams
