Page Personnel are working with a growing business, leading within their field. They are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team at an exciting time for the business.
Description
Credit Controller responsibilities include:
- Primarily responsible for the reconciliation, analysis and invoicing of accounts relating to insurance.
- Ensure timely collections of monies due whilst managing sales ledger accounts to remain within terms and credit limits.
- Investigate and resolve invoice queries and follow through to their conclusion.
- Reconcile the Sales Ledger and Bordereau, allocating credits, cash, and journals
- Demonstrate strict adherence to the debt recovery process, ensuring that all communication with customers is executed with integrity and professionally.
- Actively demonstrate effective communication with all departments within the business.
- Active participation in and support given to current ad hoc projects within the Department.
- Perform appropriate obligations to resolve queries and escalate issues to the appropriate department if necessary.
- Provide information on ageing debts to enable the creation of the bad and doubtful debt provisions.
Profile
The candidate will have:
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
- Proven success in a fast-paced and demanding environment - Required
- Ability to build, develop and maintain good relationships with colleagues and clients - Required
- Reliable and flexible approach to work situations - Desirable
- Ability to work well alone or as part of a team - Required
