As a Forensic Accounting Director, you will be responsible for providing proactive leadership to the team, managing projects and deputising for Partners at times. This includes planning, monitoring, reviewing work of junior members, report writing, supporting partners by providing front line advice to solicitors and clients and taking active responsibility for businesses development and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support Partners to develop the department’s strategy.
  • Optimise contribution to generate profitable income from all projects.
  • Control forensic opportunities and assignments on behalf of a partner. Manage own work in progress, debtors, budgeted costs, billing and recovery in accordance with the group’s lock up targets and negotiate with client/lawyer.
  • Produce final written reports for use in legal proceedings or for advice to solicitors or clients.
  • Maintain and expand a network of professional and business contacts
  • People management responsibilities covering recruitment, resource planning and allocation, performance management, training and recommendations for promotion.
  • Originate and exploit marketing and business development opportunities

You’ll have

  • Extensive technical experience of Expert Witness work, including contractual disputes; business interruption; SPA disputes; shareholder disputes; and valuations.
  • A professional qualification either ACA or ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Experience of managing and developing others
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Project management experience
