Assistant Manager

You’ll be joining as a vital member of this growing and dynamic team. We truly understand the issues our clients face and have a complete commitment to delivering exceptional client service.You’ll be someone who can work pro-actively, managing your own tasks, but you’ll also be confident collaborating with others. You’ll also:

  • Be responsible for your engagements, delivering a completed audit file to the audit manager
  • Plan the audit strategy including work allocations, use of digital audit tools and response to risk areas and compliance with the auditing standards
  • Be collaborative and support the more junior members of the team by providing guidance and coaching
  • Develop and maintain day-to-day relationships with company management
  • Prepare initial draft reports and other external communications
  • Identify and resolve risks within the audit alongside the manager on a timely basis
  • Complete audit work on areas of significant risk and judgement

You’ll be someone with:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/ICAS or overseas equivalent
  • Experience supervising and coaching junior members of staff
  • Confident and willing to resolve problems with external finance management on engagements
  • Working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP
  • Working knowledge of regulation and compliance, including anti-money laundering
  • Knowledge of current economic and market trends and latest financial reporting guidance
  • Good time management and organisation skills
