Based in Derby, this chartered firm acts for very wide ranging clients across varying industries acting for wide ranging industry sector sole trader, partnerships and limited company OMBs and SMEs. Industries are wide ranging and varied to cover manufacturing, construction, printing as a few examples and they also act for charities and not for profit clients There is therefore the whole range of clients to mould client work and portfolios accordingly dependent on the skill set, preference and motivations of the right people. Therefore professionals with an entirely accounts/tax focused background professional are of equal interest to those bring mixed audit/accounts background as well.

Description

Joining as an Audit and Accounts Senior, based in the firms Derby office, you role will focus on audit delivery and accounts preparation to a mixed and varied client base of sole traders, partnerships, OMBs and SMEs, wide ranging in sector and size. The client base will be weighted more heavily on the smaller OMB and SME client range, under the audit threshold in turnover, with a smaller element of audit and larger client work. The role offers increasing responsibility, with potential for involvement in project work as your progress within the firm and you will have opportunity to develop your technical accounting skills, with increasing client contact and clear path on offer to progress in level, within this highly successful firm.

Profile

You will be ACA or ACCA qualified with a career background developed within accountancy practice as an Audit and Accounts Senior Accountant. You will have a recent background working for an accountancy practice of any size. So you could have a hands on and/or review background within smaller, independent firms, overseeing the delivery of audit, accounts, and wider services to a mixed client base of limited companies, SMEs and OMBs, sole traders and partnerships. Or you may have developed your career focused entirely within audit in a larger firm, working entirely on larger corporate clients and be seeking a move to a smaller firm environment offering more autonomy, influence and personal career destiny. So your career could have been developed within an accountancy practice firm environment of any size.

Job Offer

£25,000 - circa £40,000 dependent on experience, background and level, plus benefits.
