Job Description
We are looking for a number of Analysts across trading in interest rates, inflation swaps and vanilla/exotic options. The desks make markets and takes risk in government bonds, inflation linked bonds and swaps, illiquid bonds and loans. The full range of vanilla and exotic options are also covered.

Locations on offer are our trading centers in London, Paris and Frankfurt.

Department Profile:

The Fixed Income Division is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manages risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets. The Commodities Division is a market leader across a broad range of commodities markets, with expertise in areas including client risk management, financing solutions and investor products Sales & Trading.

From the largest global institutions to innovative new hedge funds, investors come to Morgan Stanley for sales, trading, and market-making services in almost every type of financial instruments including stocks, bonds, derivatives, foreign exchange, and commodities. Our professionals provide liquidity and content to clients around the world, actively assessing and managing risk, trading securities, and planning and executing transactions in the fast-changing markets. As the needs of our clients become increasingly complex, we often develop customized solutions.

What will you be doing?

  • Gain a good understanding of markets, products and the financial industry
  • Develop pricing, trading and risk management expertise
  • Quick progression to risk-taking depending on performance
  • Using quantitative research to develop and implement models and functionality
  • Work in both the voice and e-side of the business
  • Joining a dynamic team with a diverse skill set and diverse experience

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • A keen interest in the financial markets, economics, market dynamics and have the desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A background in economics, business alongside strong quantitative skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Motivation and dedication
