Client Details

Our client is one of the well-known growing market players in fashion industry.

Description

1. Financial Accounting and Reporting
* Prepare and maintain general ledger as per Mattel's accounting policy and statutory requirements
* Coordinate and complete the month end closing and submission as per corporate reporting datelines
* Complete Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly Financial Reporting Package accurately and timely
* All assets and liabilities accounts are accurately reconciled on monthly basis
* Accurate and timely preparation of the necessary schedules and information as required by audit, tax and other statutory reporting and ensure timely filing with the relevant statutory bodies
* Prepare various tracker on monthly basis for sales adjustment (SA), advertisement & promotion (A&P), travel & entertainment (T&E), free goods, sample etc

2. Day-to-Day Duties
* Ensure vendors' invoices are approved and coded correctly, and updated into system timely
* Promptly resolve vendors' enquire
* Coordinate for new suppplier setup
* Arrangement for customer cheque collection
* Coordinate for acknowledge DO if customer request
* Ensure inventory records are updated with all movements and necessary adjustments on timely basis
* Ensure all fixed assets are recorded and depreciated as per Mattel's accounting policy
* Perform inter-company cross charge on monthly basis

3. Financial Planning and Analytics
* Assist in the preparation of financial plan and forecast especially SG&A
* Analyse monthly financial actualisation vs forecast and provide commentaries
* Support in margin and profitability analysis

4. System and Processes Management
* Ensure all key internal control procedures are continue in force
* Enhance, develop and optimize process improvement opportunity

Profile

  • 2 years commercial working experience (Preferable in MNC) and 3 years audit experience in Big 4 firms
  • Knowledge in preparing full set accounts is preferred
  • Hands on
  • Able to handle tight deadlines and manage a diverse range of assigned work.
  • Good skills in Excel, Words and Powerpoints (at least Intermediate level)
  • Good communication skills
  • Analytical and decision making skills
