Senior Business Analyst Project Manager role in Global Equities Derivatives Technology Group
Who we are:
The Global Equities Risk & Derivatives Technology group is undertaking a complete renovation of its risk and derivatives platforms to allow our business to meeting ambitious growth plans in the face of industry and regulatory challenges.
Extensive analysis of challenging business problems and transparent, efficient project management of a complex technical eco-system are vital to the success of the overall strategy.
The successful candidate will report to the Global Equities Derivatives Strategy and Planning Lead and will work closely with technology application teams on detailed analysis and project progress tracking of multiple cross-functional highly critical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with stakeholders from business and risk and control to define detailed requirements and ensure all requirements are understood by development teams
- Manage the project front-to-back including dependencies across multiple application teams
- Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions and influence strategic functional decisions.
- Identify and communicate risks and impacts and propose risk mitigation options, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
- Work with Project Management Office, Chief of Staff, Risk & Control teams to setup and maintain project governance and production of senior management status reporting
- Strive for process efficiency and drive transformation changes across the group
- Support the development of appropriate and diligent responses to audit reviews and remediation plans
- 8+ years of working in the field of Equities/Risk Technology in a Business Analyst or Project Management capacity to help guide and coordinate the various streams of work
- Well organized, a strong communicator and familiar with delivering in an agile environment
- Hands-on business analysis skills with strong product knowledge, broad understanding of Equities ecosystems
- Excellent Microsoft office skills and be an advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working with globally distributed development cross-functional teams
- Experience delivering Risk project via diverse methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Proven project management skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver technology solutions across functions
- Experience with all phases of Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience using application lifecycle tools such as JIRA/JQL
- Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis
- Exceptional organization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, yet escalate at the right time
- Self-motivated with an enthusiastic and proactive approach
- Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals.
- Ability to work in a globally distributed team
- Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.
