Client Accountant

The Client Accountant role is an exciting opportunity to work with a renowned Real Estate and Property Management Business within their Commercial Property Management department, building relationships with your clients, reporting on client portfolios and maintaining client funds.

Client Details

The client are a renowned Real Estate and Property Management Business with global operations. The Client Accountant will sit within a team managing in excess of 4,000 properties with around 45,000 tenants across the UK.

This role will be based out of UK head office in the City of London and is hybrid.

Description

The Client Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Periodic reporting to clients

• Accurate reconciliation of client reports

• Update annual service charge budgets

• Manage and maintain service charge funds

• Manage and maintain the property and tenant database

• monitor cash handling income in accordance with compliance teams instruction

• General procedures that relate to accounts function

Profile

The successful Client Accountant:

• Graduate in related degree i.e. Accounting and Finance or actively studying AAT

• 2-3 years previous experience within similar Client accounting role

• Basic understanding of Service charges and double entry bookkeeping

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong team player
