Finance Analyst

This is a brand new role within the finance team. This is a financial analyst position based in a growing FMCG organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to continue to develop and progress in their career.

Our client is an industry expert. who source high quality products to the restaurants and hotels across the UK as well as the most department stores and gourmet food outlets.

Description

The key responsibilities of this role include:

Monthly MIS reporting on Turnover, Margin, Customer & product KPIs

* Support FM in monthly, quarterly & yearly MIS submission including month end results, budget & forecast

* Support operations team in understanding P&L reports and identifying opportunities to drive improvements to deliver sales & EBITDA targets

* Provide pro-active, insightful, high quality decision-making support, ensuring business wide implications are considered, that enables the business to make the best decisions with regards to investment decisions

* Support FD in preparation of annual budgets & forecast

* Support FD on strategic business decisions including acquisition & investment appraisal

* System support for SAP B1/Tagetik

* Provide ad-hoc analytical support as required

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• At least 2-3 years in a similar financial accountant role
• Relevant finance exposure
• Finance degree
• Currently studying or interested in studying towards ACCA
• Ability to pay keen attention to detail
• Good communication skills
