Job Description

The ReEntry Program is a 15-week fellowship program, beginning March 2023 and ending June 2023, with the prospect of an offer for permanent employment with JP Morgan Chase at the end of the program. The program offers a reintroduction to corporate life for those returning to the workplace after two or more years of voluntarily being away.

As part of External Reporting team the individual will facilitates interaction with schedule owners, report owners, Line of Business (LOBs such as Investment Bank, Commercial Bank, Consumer and Community Banking & Asset Management) and technology partners. As one enhances his/her expertise with data it opens up further opportunities to get into project management, business management and data analytics roles. Outside of the team there is a direct link to product control functions in each LOB, product owners (SME) or report owner roles in Corporate Finance. 

We have opportunities across our Finance & Business Management functions in Poland including: Product Control, External Reporting and Treasury.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Preparation of financial information and production of reports for US regulators and several Central Banks in EMEA
  • Analytical review and variance analysis of regulatory returns
  • Support collection and landing of systemic and manual financial data sources into target reporting infrastructure.
  • Review and reconcile trade and position level data against firm’s general ledger to ensure fit for purpose for regulatory reporting.
  • Partner with various corporate and LOB business partners to identify and process reoccurring and ad-hoc data adjustments as necessary.
  • Track, maintain and archive issues and queries / results for audit purposes.
  • Support front-end user inquiries and escalation of technology issues.
  • Partner with technology to identify log issues, track implementation of application fixes & enhancements.
  • Participate project and change management for release related testing and implementation work.
  • Support further development of the Regulatory Reporting infrastructure and IT tools
  • Process analysis and automation

Data visualisation and analytics

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Seeking accomplished individuals who are currently on a voluntary career break for at least 2 years and wish to return to the workforce full time a part of the External Reporting team
  • College/University degree in Finance or similar field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • MIS or Regulatory reporting background preferred
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting paradigm will be an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially in Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact with business partners independently
