The Role:

Become a part of Energy Risk and Accounting team and help us transform the way we manage the financials of Shell’s business. 

Financial Specialist - Manage Stock Inventory plays an important role in ensuring stock level correctness in Shell’s locations across the Europe.

This position will report to Energy Risk & Accounting Team Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform standard accounting activities accurately and in line with timetable (Stock Inventory accounting activities)
  • Operate all SOX and internal controls in line with Work Instructions and the Group controls framework
  • Support improvement projects & timely and effective responses to data/project requests
  • Cooperate with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong team-working across the process area is essential

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance/Accounting or Professional Qualifications coupled with min 3 years working experience in accounting, reporting and financial controls
  • Experience in General Ledger would be an asset
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Very good knowledge of Excel
  • Practical experience in SAP would be an strong asset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Very good English is a must
