Accounts Payable Accountant (Thai & English Speaking)

Are you a Thai & English-speaking accounts payable accountant (with general ledger) with more than five
years' experience in a multinational company looking for a new opportunity in Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur?
We are looking for an enthusiastic accounts payable accountant who has good work ethic, good attention to
detail and can work independently to support our global finance team in APAC.

Description

 Prepare and post monthly manual general ledger journals in Oracle.
 Prepare and enter month accounts payable transactions in Oracle.
o Ensure all vendor invoices to ensure tax invoice requirements are met.
o Ensuring all vendor invoices to ensure VAT and withholding tax are captured correctly in
Oracle.
o Ensuring correct coding to vendor invoices.
 Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations on monthly basis
 Reconcile and prepare sundry local tax payments.
 Review and approve employee expense claims in Oracle.
 Follow up with vendor on valid tax invoice and issue them withholding tax certificates.
 Assist with external audits and related corporate initiatives.
 Prepare monthly and bi-monthly transactional tax returns for submission.
 Handle end-to-end payment processes including initiating transactions and support in the banking
portal/CashPro.
 Record retention.
 Additional / non-recurring / ad-hoc / changes in tasks may arise from time to time subject to
organisational needs.

Profile

 Have more than five years' relevant accounts payable experience in a multinational company
 Have experience in month tax filings and submissions.
 Have experience with generally acceptable accounting principles applicable to the region.
 Have experience in working with Oracle/ ERP.
 Have experience in working with a global finance team.
 Have good attention to detail.
 Be able to solve problems in an efficient and effective manner.
 Have excellent communications skills both written and spoken in Thai and English.
