FINANCE ANALYST 28K + STUDY SUPPPORT OFFICE BASED *OWN CAR NECCESARY
Robert Walters are proud to represent a rapidly growing business based in Warrington as they seek to recruit a Finance Analyst at their head office.
This role is a great next step for an AAT studier or early CIMA studier wanting to work for a supportive business where you will play an integral role in supporting the operational finance team. Full study support towards your qualification & lots of progression opportunities in a high performing finance function.
KEY DUTIES
• Producing a variety of Revenue and cost reports that are used to produce weekly and monthly figures.
• Analysing the data to understand variances and work with the operational accountant to identify risks & opportunities to improve financial results.
• Producing accurate and detailed weekly finance reports and set of accounts.
• Use a detailed set of KPI's as business performance driver to improve the performance of the business. Reporting on revenue and cost trends and variances to support operations.
• Undertake nominal ledger tasks including processing of journals, nominal ledger cross-charges and period end reconciliations.
• To liaise with other departments as required ensuring the reporting deadlines of the organisation are met.
• Ensure financial controls are in place to make sure interim and year-end financial accounts are accurate, working with external auditors in a professional manner when required.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
• Studying towards AAT/CIMA
• Equivalent of 5 GCSE grade 'C' or above
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office with Strong Excel skills.
• Practical experience of financial analysis and reporting.
