Senior Business Analyst/ Project Manager - Up to £75,000 - Remote

This particular client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager to be part of a fast-growing team responsible for the development of a proprietary technology. My client is looking for someone with technical/programmer background and with excellent knowledge of software development cycle and agile methodologies to tailor them to best suit the team and the company. He/she will have ability to specify detailed business requirements by talking to clients as well as stakeholders and translate these requirements into technical specifications. You will work closely with developers, being able to discuss questions and issues on a detailed but not necessarily technical and architectural level. To achieve this, an understanding of databases and data query languages (SQL Server) is highly desirable. Knowledge of software testing principals, ability to do high level testing and support testers in terms of requirement details, is a must.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for greenfield Agile business analysis and project delivery
  • Take on coordination of resources within Technology team as well as working with other departments and clients, to deliver projects on time, within scope and budget
  • Work closely with developers, being able to discuss questions and issues on a detailed but not necessarily technical and architectural level, understanding of databases and data query languages (SQL Server)
Skills & Qualifications
  • Knowledge of software testing principals, ability to do high level testing and support testers in terms of requirement details
  • Business Analyst skills in a greenfield project
  • Understanding of databases and data query languages (SQL Server) is a must
  • Agile Project Management Experience
  • Worked directly with developer facilitating refinement sessions, running sprint planning, stand-ups and monitoring project progress
