Job Description – Risk Analytics and Data Services – Risk Data Management

The Risk Analytics and Data Services (RADS) team drives value creation through data solutions, advanced analytics and innovative technologies. The Risk Data Management vertical within RADS focuses on data delivery solutions supporting regulatory disclosures across corporate functions, including but not limited to Treasury, Controllers, Credit Risk and Compliance. Interaction with internal and external auditors is required to substantiate the completeness and accuracy of the data deliverables. The Risk Data Management team is responsible for ensuring the end to end sourcing, integration, application delivery and data integrity for financial, non-financial and compliance data consumers.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

Job Duties

  • Identify and remediate critical enterprise data issues across multiple product offerings by performing complex data profiling, data/business analysis and conducting data mapping as part of root cause/impact analysis
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes regarding data flow/quality to improve accuracy, viability and value for downstream consumers along with recommending approaches to resolve data quality issues
  • Assist with several research and remediation initiatives – a) match merge similar entities across multiple sources, b) assist in research of Bloomberg IDs for multiple counterparties and c) validate new reports that will enhance in the effective management in-house database
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure requirements are captured adequately and solutions implemented accurately satisfying business needs
  • Self-driven individual with the ability to work independently and on multiple activities concurrently; ability to see a bigger picture and understand the underlying business problems/needs

Qualification

  • Bachelor degree in Finance/Economics or B. Com or equivalent
  • MBA/M. Com (preferred not mandatory)

Skills Required

  • Experience of working within an operations setup/risk management in a Banking/Financial Services industry would be preferable
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic working knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
