Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available in the Non-Banking Entity Treasury and Capital team in GCT. This is as a result of an internal move within the team.

You'll be joining a diverse team, in a fast-paced environment, with a huge scope of opportunities to learn. The team covers a broad scope of work such as the management of the LBG holding company, issuing and optimising the Group and subsidiary debt capital securities, and leading the Group's recovery and resolution planning work.

The NBE Treasury, Capital and Recovery and Resolution team has a broad responsibility. This includes running the LBG holding company and driving the Treasury relationship with our Equity Investment and Insurance entities.

We also undertake the Group's capital issuance including setting capital risk appetite, planning and executing the term sub debt components of the Group Capital plan. We lead the Group's £40bn debt capital securities including strategies to optimise the performance of the portfolio given regulatory and market volatility. We also own the subsequent internal capital plans and execution, alongside HoldCo funding required by the Group's major legal entities.

Our team also leads the Group's recovery and resolution planning work and is responsible for the submission of the recovery plan and resolvability assessment.
