Missions

In collaboration with the other Consolidation manager, manage the group year-end closing process :

Manage all planning and processes to prepare Group consolidated financial statements in line with the requirements set out by the group and its external auditors:

• • Perform consolidation procedures and prepare group financial statements with notes and supporting working papers for the auditors
  • Review auditors' correspondence (highlights memorandums and management letters) and drive and implement formal follow-up with companies
• Consult and liaise with all appropriate in-house professionals and external consultants to ensure that all appropriate expertise is applied and used appropriately.
• Coordinate audit process, working closely with auditors, ensuring they are provided with required information and clarifying any issues they bring forth.

• Ensure that all accounting and reporting issues are identified early, recommended solutions appropriately discussed, fully documented and approved by appropriate management early.

• Ensure group accounting policies are followed and understand their potential impact on the year-end financial package.

Profil du candidat

- Accounting and financial reporting background: ideally a strong experience (3-4 years) in a consolidation department in a multinational with high level involvement in all aspects of a group financial statement closing process (audit…)

-A first experience as external auditor, ideally in one of the big 4 audit firms, is well appreciated

-Strong Accounting / Consolidation knowledge (US GAAP or IFRS)

-IT sensitive skills (good excel skills and knowledge of a reporting/consolidation tool as SAP-BPC is a plus)

-Fluent in English, or another foreign language is a plus (French / Spanish)

- Soft skills: Analytical skills with care of details, pro-activity with capability of working under pressure and meeting deadlines, trustful & team player.
