We are looking to add a Tax Assistant Manager to the team to help grow the team and get involve in various projects.

Description

Tax Assistant Manager

  • Preparation of a wide range of advisory work. Recent advisory work includes, the preparation of EMI reports, a report on transfer pricing and remuneration, the preparation of tax clearance's to HMRC and a tax note on the UK tax implications of being a member of an American LLC.
  • Direct responsibility for circa 135 personal tax returns, 15 partnership returns and 25 trust returns. A portfolio, therefore, of 175 returns total.
  • Responsible for managing the personal tax function of the firm including reviewing returns, training team members and allocating portfolios and work dependent on experience.
  • Carrying out 1-1s and appraisals with junior team members and arranging their training needs.
  • Assisting the corporation tax function as and when required including answering queries and carrying out the compliance for a large group.

Profile

The successful Tax Assistant Manager must:

  • Independent worker who can effectively time manage across a range of work at once.
  • An ambitions individual with strong work ethic.
  • Good all round tax knowledge, with a particular focus of personal tax.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • A background in completing a range of advisory projects preferred
  • ATT/CTA preferred
  • 3-5 years experience as a minimum
  • Management experienced
