Data Science Model Validator

For one of our client (Global Bank), we are currently looking for Candidates for the Model Risk Management subdivision:

Position: Data Science Model Validator
Location: Warsaw, Poland
Form of work: hybrid mode

ROLE:

• Validate predictive models (models for binary outcome, decision trees, linear regression) using SAS & Python statistical software
• Execute complex statistical analysis, data visualizations, data processing
• Perform critical review of model development process and obtained results
• Provide data pulls and reports directly from Oracle Database
• Prepare model validation reports in a detailed, structured and clear manner, highlighting risks and limitations of the model
• Use visualization techniques to display data and the results of analysis in clear straightforward presentations
• Distribute validation reports and consult with model and business owners and stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluent English
• Professional experience in Statistical/Data Science/Model Validator/Analytical role
• SAS 4GL, R, Python, SQL (at least one of them)
• Statistical/data analytical skills (calculation and interpretation)
• Familiar with statistics packages and regression models
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Data Marts/Data Warehouses etc.)
• Degree in statistics/mathematics/technical science/IT/econometric/economics/banking/
• Experience in AML detection / transaction monitoring area will be an asset
