Responsibilities:
Manages engagements
- Coordinates planning, documentation and acceptance of engagement in due time; Manages proper planning of delivery of the engagement (budget, team allocation, content review, own deliverables, project timetable, client interaction/meetings, project closing);
- Performs/Supervises valuation and business modelling analysis by analyzing more complex financial, KPIs and industry/market information;
- Assess suitability and robustness of information received and discuss shortcomings with the client;
- Provides guidance during the information gathering process, review outcome, valuation object and/or industry specific issues and approaches to deal with identified valuation issues;
- As expert, leads/supervises different types of engagements (such as business valuation, impairment testing, purchase price allocations, model build/review, feasibility studies);
- Manages margin of the engagement;
- Allocates tasks appropriately, monitors team utilization and project timetable;
- Liaises with EY professionals from other SSLs or SLs and other advisors and ensures proper communication with the client;
- Manages fee invoicing and collection in due time;
- Provides feedback after each engagement for seniors and assistants;
Support in go to market activities
- Prepares proposal materials and defines the scope of a VBM proposal/engagement;
- Coordinates multi-SL/SSLs and cross border input into a pitch;
- Develops relationships with clients;
- Records client interaction, engagements in Interaction tool, sales and pursuit report;
- Assists Partner/Director in defining go to market strategy and follows it when approaching the market;
- Participates to marketing and client networking events, conferences;
Required qualifications/certifications:
- Relevant professional qualification obtained or advanced (i.e. ANEVAR, ACCA, CFA, etc.);
- Experience of minimum 5 years working in valuation, corporate finance/investment banking (audit, accounting would be a plus);
Competences:
- Very good English, Excel, PowerPoint knowledge; good report-writing skills;
- Ability to analyze financial statements and forecasts;
- Business acumen; strong analytical skills and ability to grasp commercial issues;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills;
- Attention to details, structured approach;
- Problem solving, proactive and self-starter attitude;
- Ability to work in cross-functional and multicultural teams;
- Willingness to learn and develop.
