Senior Accountant

This will be a client facing role with high levels of daily interaction and relationship building on top of the compliance service offered to the clients. You will also help to support more junior members of staff when they join on larger jobs.

A very successful independent firm of accountants based in Leicester. This firm has a large 2 storey purpose built office with plenty of on-site facilities to support staff working to the best of their ability and ensure their potential is reached.

Description

• Second contact for a portfolio of clients
• Prepare annual accounts and tax computations
• Involvement in audit
• Prepare management accounts on a quarterly / monthly basis.
• Prepare VAT returns on a quarterly basis.
• Support and develop trainee accountants with their assignments.
• Deliver an excellent level of customer service, managing and exceeding client expectations, responding to all ad-hoc queries in a timely manner.

Profile

You will be within your first few years of post qualification and looking to make a step up into a larger firm with more senior responsibilities. You should have plenty experience in a similar role and show a desire to want to succeed in a new role.
