Tax Consultant - Global Employer Services

Currently, we are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious, trustworthy, and energetic Tax Consultant to join our GES team. Deloitte Tax provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with some of the world’s most complex consulting issues.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications & skills:

• Business - related university degree (preferably graduate level in Law / Economics / Finance & Accounting);
• Ability to produce well-written and structured standpoints;
• Analytical and critical thinking as well as good communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments;
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality; deadline and results-driven;
• Proficiency in English and Lithuanian is a must as well;
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially in Excel).

Preferred:

• Knowledge of tax, social security, or double tax treaties;
• Global experience (foreign language skills, lived/studied abroad, strong cultural awareness).

Education and experience

• Bachelor's degree
• 1+ Years of Experience

Language knowledge

• Lithuanian
• English

Your future role

• Assisting individuals and international employers with tax consulting and compliance matters related to global employment services;
• Providing international social security consulting and compliance services;
• Solving complex individual taxation issues, including tax residence and double taxation matters;
• Providing support with employment and remuneration structuring;
• Communicating with the Tax Authorities and/or Social Security Authorities;
• Participating in global projects related to individual taxation and working with international teams.
