Your journey with us

The GTA (Global Trade Advisory) team assists clients through their own technology solution called Trade Classifier. We are now looking to expanding the team with a Consultant Trade Automation.

• You will work with the Trade Classifier tool to classify products of our clients via the workflow functionality
• You will investigate products for additional characteristics that are relevant for classification
• You will check legal and trusted sources for the classification process (classification schemes with chapter notes, Explanatory notes, BTI and Cross Ruling for Tariff Classification and CCL, EU Dual Use etc. for ECCN classification)
• You will test new features of the Trade Classifier tool, while understanding the complex tax technical requirements of these features.
• You will identify ways to improve efficiency of existing business processes and data automation for multiple projects concurrently

Let’s talk about you

• You have experience with Tariff Classification or ECCN / Export control classification
• You have a good knowledge of global trade processes
• You are able to communicate fluently in Dutch and English
• You have excellent communication & analytical skills
• You have 1+years of relevant experience in a similar position (in a consulting or a law firm, at the Tax Authorities, in the industry…)
• You have an open, creative, enthusiastic, flexible and entrepreneurial mindset
