Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your role will include:
- Generating financial reports that display the company's profits, equity and cash flow
- Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries
- Manage and complete month end activities and ensure output accurate and in a timely manner
- Period balance sheet reconciliations of selected asset and liability accounts
- Bank and Credit Card reconciliations General ledger maintenance
- Journal and month end processing
- Balance sheet reconciliations (and year end reporting)
- Variance analysis of all bank statements and balance sheet accounts
- Any other ad hoc duties that arise
Profile
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar Financial Accountant role, along with the following attributes:
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong computer skills
- Experience in bookkeeping (using software) and administration
- Experience in the application of accounting process and procedures
- Experienced & proficient in accounting software
- General computer literacy in Excel & cloud-based programmes
