Group Financial Accountant - Cheshire - ACA
Due to rapid growth, a new role has been created for a Group Financial Accountant for an industry leading business based in Cheshire.
With flexible, hybrid working available, you'd be joining a large finance team and it's a great step when putting your ACA/ACCA training into action with huge scope to progress.
Reporting into a supportive Financial Accounting Manager, this is a business crucial role where you would be involved in producing statutory accounts, business valuations, process improvements and providing your technical, finance knowledge.
Key duties include:
• Assisting with the production of statutory accounts for both small and large entities
• Producing technical accounting papers for year-end audit & working with the finance teams to guide and advise on technical issues
• Implementing best practice for year-end reporting and working closely with the Financial Accounting Manager on ad-hoc projects, ensuring everything is correctly accounted for
Required experience:
• ACA/ACCA newly qualified
• Audit background with experience of preparing statutory accounts and understanding of large group consolidations
• Excellent communication skills and confident to interact with senior stakeholders
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
