Be part of Vodafone UK's Credit Risk Analytics team, where we use a wealth of data sources to unlock business opportunities and bring customer value for both our Consumer and Enterprise businesses.

What will you be doing?

As a business analyst you will own the requirements gathering process, make data driven recommendations based on detailed analytics and take responsibility for the design and evolution of business processes. You will be responsible for helping to deliver the Credit Risk Data roadmap, identifying opportunities across the team for the continuous improvement of our data and processes. This includes all data for Credit Risk, Billing and Collections, providing recommendations for enhancements or operational efficiencies.

You will be responsible for contributing towards the delivery of the analytics roadmap, identifying opportunities by pulling insight from our data and supporting the drive for a continuous improvement in our decision making, as part of the wider Credit Risk, Billings and Collections team.

The team are responsible for managing the strategies supporting over 400k applications each month and 200k customers entering collections, protecting annual value of more than £300m. Additionally, the team own optimisation of models driving reduction against fraud attacks and never paid, in excess of more than £100m loss exposure. Clean, accessible data and optimised processes are paramount to the success of these projects.

Who are we looking for?
  • Highly numerate, analytical thinker. Able to identify opportunities and drive insight and appropriate action from data.
  • Commercial experience coding in either SQL/SAS/Python similar and Excel
  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst, able to work independently
  • Experience in process mapping and process engineering
  • Strong stakeholder management - experienced in workshop facilitation, provision of requirements documentation as well as visual representations is essential
  • Ability to identify shortcomings and suggest improvements to existing processes, systems, data structure and procedures
  • Solid understanding of, and experience in, Credit Risk principles, methodologies, measures, systems, operating models and processes
