GSC Business Finance Intern

We are looking for interns to join us from December 2022/January 2023 onwards, for a 6 - 7 months commitment. Please indicate your availability, i.e duration and full-time/part-time in your application. Students who can commit full-time will be preferred.

The successful candidate will join the GSC Finance where we partner the business, transform and tailor our Supply Chain to meet our customer needs. This role will analyze Financial results of multiple factories in EAJ region, conduct benchmarking study, variance analysis, work with senior finance leaders to generate efficiency and improve processes.

What will you do?

• Budgeting and forecasting: Co-ordinate the forecasts from different Factories so as to build a coherent picture for the Cluster
• Analyse variances between Actual and Forecasts. Assess the Risks
• Give warning of slippage
• In depth Financial analysis of Plant, benchmarking with Other plants and drive efficiency
• Assist in Managing the Performance Measurement Process for the Cluster
• Develop the links between economic performance and operations
• Implement the performance indicators to manage the Cluster under the guidance of Cluster Leader
• Drive Specific Projects relating to finance and Processes
• Assist the Cluster finance Director in animating and driving improvement of Key Internal Controls analysis and actions Manage the monthly financial meeting within the management team.

What qualifications will make you successful?

• Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting
• Proficiency with using Tableau and PowerBI will be an added advantage
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, international team environment
• Self-starter with ability to work independently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
